108 Counter — Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 24, 2026
108 Counter ("the app") is a spiritual practice companion for mala counting, naam jaap, shlokas, and Hindu festival calendars. We respect your privacy and keep the app simple: your sadhana data stays on your device unless you choose to contact us.
Information we collect
The app stores the following locally on your device only:
- Counter data (108 mala counts, naam jaap totals, mala history)
- App settings (calendar preference, vibration, reminder times, counting mode)
We do not require an account, do not run advertising, and do not use third-party analytics SDKs in the app.
Notifications
If you enable festival reminders, the app schedules local notifications on your device for upcoming Hindu festivals. Notification permission is optional and can be turned off in app or system settings. We do not send push notifications from a remote server.
Feedback
If you tap "Share feedback" in Settings, you may be taken to a Google Form in your browser. Any information you submit there is handled according to Google's Privacy Policy. We only receive what you choose to submit in the form.
Data sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not share app usage or counter data with third parties.
Data retention & deletion
Counter and settings data remain on your device until you clear app data, uninstall the app, or use in-app reset options. Uninstalling the app removes locally stored data from your device.
Children
The app is suitable for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the app itself.
Changes
We may update this policy as the app evolves. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
